what are jeggings??

Of course I googled them, of course I read wiki to find out what they were but I am puzzled by the whole WHY?
Are the fashion houses so lost on how to create new looks that they combine leggings and jeans and come up with this!

This whole post got formulated in my mind this morning when walking from the bus stop to the office.  A  woman was walking in front of me and because I had a camera in my handbag, I took a picture. (I still don't own one of those really smart phones that does everything for you)   I couldn't help myself, I had to take a picture.
I apologise to this woman but seriously honey you shouldn't be in those jeggings

I am the first to admit that I have made several blunders in the wardrobe selection of the day, but I learn and I try to not make the same mistake twice.

On the right is what it looks like on ordinary women with lots of curves and we should tell  the fashion houses to go fuck themselves and to start creating clothes for ordinary women  or they should  come up with a  " who shouldn't be wearing this" chart.
